Kate Isenberg

I learned about Kate Isenberg when I was sent her CD to review for another publication, and was so impressed I just had to include her among the best artists I learned about this year. A relatively unknown singer/songwriter from the Bay Area, Kate is probably new to most folks, but is well worth a listen. Her work calls to mind that of fellow west-coaster Laura Veirs, with its intricate guitar work and literary, almost mythical lyrics.
