On September 13, Dar Williams will release her seventh full-length CD. My Better Self features some of the Folk industry's best players backing up Dar on various instruments.

Some of the songs incorporate members of her touring band, with whom she's never recorded. Other songs bring in outside players, including Steuart Smith (guitars) - who currently plays with the Eagles, and Julie Wolf (keyboards) - formerly of the Ani Difranco band.
Patty Larkin helps share singing duties, and Ani Difranco duets with Williams on a cover of Pink Floyd's "Comforably Numb."
This CD promises to be just as innovative and honest as Dar's other six efforts.
