Elvis Perkins
I happened upon Elvis Perkins this summer, along with everyone else at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in Lyons, Colorado. Perkins put on an incredible set, along with his backup band, with Beatles-esque folky tunes like "One, Two, Three, Goodbye." His energy and stage presence were absolutely electric and turned me on to a band from New England that I may have never heard otherwise.
