With the release of Talking With the Taxman, Billy Bragg took his first step into working with a full band. Until that point, his records had featured Bragg by himself with very little addeed instrumentation. The album featured several guitars, organ, piano, violin, trumpet, and even the flugelhorn. In fact, the subtitle of this record is The DIFFICULT Third Album.
