Most of Jani Ian's more than two dozen album covers feature a picture of Jani's face from various angles. But for her 2004 release, Billie's Bones, this terrifically prolific artist decided to go with a more abstract idea. The album is said to be dedicated to Billie Holliday, one of Janis' musical heroes, and includes some of the best work of her career, including a song she "co-wrote" with Woody Guthrie.
