O Brother Where Art Thou (released in 2000) told the Odyssey-style tale of three men escaping from a chain gang in Mississippi, 1937. Motivated by a stash of loot, they make their way along an ultimate road trip journey.

Highly respected roots music producer T Bone Burnett had enjoyed considerable success before O Brother but has since become one of the folk world's most sought-after producers. This soundtrack has sold over seven million copies and earned five Grammy Awards.

About 'Down From the Mountain':

Due to the enormous success of the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack, the artists featured therein got together for a performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Down From the Mountain was a documentary and concert film of that performance, featuring many of the artists from the O Brother Soundtrack.
