Based in Nashville, Tenn., Lost Highway supports an impressive roster of artists and bands which have helped to define and steer the ever-evolving roots and Americana genres. From alt-country mainstays like Ryan Adams and Lucinda Williams to thoughtful singer-songwriters like Mary Gauthier and the twangy cleverness of Hayes Carll, Lost Highway artists are certainly making a mark on the roots world.

In addition to the numerous recordings they've released, Lost Highway Records has also acted as distributor for works by Johnny Cash and Lyle Lovett, as well as soundtracks like that for O Brother, Where Art Thou? They are now part of the Universal Music Group Nashville and operate in conjunction with the Island Def Jam Music Group.
