Kevin Welch, Kieran Kane and Fats Kaplan have become known as the Dead Reckoners. Flying on the success of their recent collaborative release, the trio popped up for an incredible performance at the 2006 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco.
Each of these men have been fantastic artists in their own right, but, as is clear in their live performance, when they are together as a unit, they are a force to be reckoned with. Kaplan, whose collaborators referred to him as Fatty, displayed remarkable dexterity on his instrument, while his fellow players sang their beautiful compositions.
