Donna Simpson:

Her father taught her how to play guitar when she was 15 years old. The first song she ever learned was "The Times They Are A-Changin'," by Bob Dylan. In 2003, the band got to open up for Bob Dylan on his Australian tour.

Vikki Simpson:

(guitar, harmonica, vocals)
According to the band's official site, Vikki's first song on the guitar was "House of the Rising Sun."

Josh Cunningham:

According to the Waifs' Web site, Josh decided to play guitar after seeing Michael J. Fox play "Johnny B. Goode" on Back to the Future. When he met up with the Simpson sisters in 1992, they were performing as the duo Colours. Cunningham was playing bass with a rock band at the time and, after jamming with the sisters for "about 10 minutes," they asked him to join their band. He said yes, and the rest was history.
