Not only does this record include one of my favorite songs from the whole Ani DiFranco library ("Imperfectly"), it's also one of the most in-your-face records from the "early years." If I had to guess, I'd say this is the record that seriously beefed up the lesbian contingent of Ani's fanbase, as it includes classics like "If It Isn't Her," "Circle of Light," and bisexual anthem, "In Or Out." There's also the fabulous poem "Coming Up," which Ani reprised on her album Not a Pretty Girl, and the opening song—an agnostic hymn, of sorts.
