Two Highways was the first disc with Union Station, and Krauss' voice is quite a bit closer to her smooth and comfortable range. Clearly, she was still trying to figure out where her voice fit, although her vocal performances on this disc are slightly more solid than its predecessor. Still, it's a notable listen for the impeccable instrumentation of Alison Krauss and her peers in Union Station.
