I'll be releasing my final tally of the Best Folk Albums of 2012 on Monday. But, while I decide what order to put them in, here's a look at five albums likely to help you glide smoothly into a whole new year.
You might be surprised by a lush new direction for singer-songwriter Caitlin Rose (pictured), or just happy to hear once again from long-time favorite Gurf Morlix. There are certainly more albums than these due out in the first quarter, but if you plan to hear at least these five, you're bound to start 2013 off on the right foot.
