It's been four years since Old Crow Medicine Show released their most recent album Tennessee Pusher. It's almost hard to believe it's been that long, and I'm not sure whether that's because "Wagon Wheel" is such a prolific presence in folk clubs, or because OCMS's influence has been remarkably strong on the rest of the GEN Y folk movement.
Regardless, after a brief hiatus, the band is back with original founding member Critter Fuqua, to boot. The result is an album sure to rock the worlds of long-time OCMS fans while helping to convert a slew of newcomers. Check out my full review of Old Crow Medicine Show's new album Carry Me Back.
