One half-century into his career as a recording artist, Bob Dylan isn't packing it up. One of the folk and rock worlds' most prolific songwriters, Dylan has also been one of the most consistently creative and original songwriting forces in the world of modern music. To celebrate the 50th year since he released his debut album on Columbia Records in 1962, Dylan has announced he will release an album titled Tempest on September 11, 2012 featuring ten new songs.
(Fifty years with the same label is another thing worth noting, which simply doesn't happen anymore.)
