Now On Tour, Dixie Chicks Won't Just Shut Up and Sing

Dixie ChicksGrassrock country-pop group the Dixie Chicks started their career playing lightning-fast bluegrass on the streets of Texas, but entered the national spotlight as somewhat of a mainstream country act. Now, three albums and a Bush-bashing (overblown) controversy later, the group has conscientiously turned back to their bluegrass roots and reached out into the arena of protest music.
