Beginning September 29 in Joshua Tree Park, California, the Cosmic American Music Festival, Gram Parsons Tribute Festival, and Sneaky Pete Kleinow Benefit will be rocking through the weekend. The three-day festival(s) will play host to over 40 artists, including Tim Easton (with Tough Sailors), Victoria Williams (with the Thriftstore Allstars), and Tom Freund (just off a tour with Ben Harper).

The festival was started in 1996 to help raise awareness of the work of Gram Parsons. This year's festival will mark the final year, and hosts artists ranging from alt.country to contemporary folk and blues. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 & 30, will play host to the Gram Parsons Tribute Festival, and Sunday, Oct. 1, will feature the Sneaky Pete Kleinow Benefit. For tickets and other information, check out the GramFest Web site.
